Terms & Conditions

Article 14 of the Animals (Transport) Order 1997 requires that you

provide the information requested below.  Please also read the Terms and

Conditions and sign to show that you are in agreement with them.

Transport Services

Standard transport to and from an event, beach ride, vet visit etc with same day return:-

 

(Basic fee is to cover the washing and disinfecting of trailer before/after every use.)

 

A deposit of 50% of a firm quote is

required for all bookings.

 

 

£20.00 Basic Fee plus £1.30 per mile from and to base in Narberth.

 

Waiting fee charged at £6 per hour from time of

arrival to departure of event.

 

Emergency call out (if available - will be charged if transport requested immediately or within 12 hours and not previously booked):-

£30.00 + £1.30 per mile from and to base in    Narberth.

 

Waiting fee charged at £8 per hour.

Should your equine take longer to load than 30 minutes, an additional fee will be charged at:-

£15.00 per hour

Should it not be possible to load the equine for whatever reason, the call out fee will be charged, which will also take into account any mileage already travelled and time taken in attempting to load the animal:-

£30.00 + £1.30 per mile from and to base +    waiting fee charged at  £8 per hour.

Cancelled bookings of less than 24 hours will be charged the call out fee:-

If not required to remain at an event, prices will be quoted at mileage rate for round trip, i.e. from base to collection point, then to event, back to base, back to event and finally to your destination.

1.

You are liable to cover the cost of repairs to any damage caused by your horse.  You have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before departure and agree any damage, as arguments will not be entered into later.  Any contents are your responsibility.  The transport vehicle must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

2.

You are personally liable for your horse during transport.  It is advised that you obtain insurance for your equine for transportation.  Please ensure that your horses passport or a copy travels with the transporter. The passport or  copy of the passport is not required for a veterinary visit.

3.

It is advised that you place travel boots and a tail guard on your horse for transportation.  It is requested that your horse is ready for loading at the booked time.

The driver takes all reasonable precautions; however, in the event of an

accident, please note that you are personally liable for your horse in the event of injury or damage sustained to or by your horse.

5.

Liability is NOT accepted for loss of entry fees or any other related 

expenses in the event of delayed or cancelled journeys for any reason.

Should it not be possible to load your horse, a callout fee will still be charged which will take into account of the mileage already traveled and time taken in attempt to load your horse.

7.

Should your horse take longer than half an hour to load, an additional fee of £12 per hour will be charged.  Should you also need our services longer than the requested and/or quoted time, this will also be charged at £12 per hour.

Should your horse be very unsettled, we reserve the right to refuse to transport the animal and a callout fee will still be payable.  If your horse becomes unsettled during transit, then we reserve the right to sedate your horse and/or call out an emergency vet to sedate your horse if we deem the situation necessary.  You will be liable for any veterinary expenses and any delay incurred at £12 per hour.

9.

Cancelled bookings with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a £30 call out fee.

10.

A deposit must be paid when booking, this will amount to 50% of the quote given.  The remainder of the payment must be made on the day of transport, either in cash or by a UK bank/building society cheque supported by the

relevant cheque guarantee card.
